Economic update for the week ending February 7, 2014   Interest rates have dropped over the last couple of weeks. The Freddie Mac Weekly Primary Mortgage Market Survey showed that the 30-year-fixed rate dropped to 4.23% from 4.32% last week.  The 15-year-fixed fell to 3.33% from last week’s 3.40%.
